Marc Fournier has seen clams of all shapes and sizes in the restaurant for more than 40 years. He grew up in Shediac and worked for his parents in their very popular restaurant called Gould's Fried Clams. For many years, Gould was the place for the best fried clams around; along with fun at the beach, long-distance driving in the country and spending many nights at drive-in theatre.
Marc and his wife Anne-Marie opened Mark's fried clams in December 1990. They have honed Marc's cooking skills and methods as well as his desire to always do a good job into a business that provides service to be proud of. Now, Marcs and his wife pass on their experience and skills to a group of energetic young people, and the young will do better. That, coupled with friendly service and reasonable prices, is what attracts people to come back.
